A Beautiful Gathering: Highlights from Our Free Emotional Regulation Workshop

Last week, Nahash Health hosted a deeply enriching free Emotional Regulation workshop, and we’re thrilled to share that over 20 participants joined us for a day of learning, connection, and personal growth. The atmosphere was vibrant, supportive, and full of curiosity as people from different backgrounds came together to explore one of the most important skills in wellbeing: understanding and regulating our emotions.
Breathwork as a Gateway to Calm – With Sahara
The session opened with an inspiring talk from Sahara, who guided participants through the powerful role of breathwork in emotional regulation. Sahara explained how our breath is one of the most accessible tools we have for calming the nervous system, grounding ourselves, and creating space between stimulus and response.
Participants were invited to try simple yet effective techniques, discovering first hand how intentional breathing can shift emotional states, reduce stress, and restore balance. Sahara’s gentle teaching style made the practice feel welcoming and achievable for everyone.
Understanding the Emotions That Shape Our Lives – With Dr Lale Tuncer

Lale led a fascinating exploration into the emotions that most commonly influence our daily lives. From fear and frustration to joy and hope, Lale unpacked how these emotions arise, how they affect our behaviour, and how we can work with them rather than against them.
Her insights helped participants recognise patterns, triggers, and the deeper stories behind their emotional responses. Many attendees shared that this part of the workshop gave them a new sense of clarity and compassion for themselves.
A Community Committed to Growth
What made the workshop truly special was the sense of community in the room. Participants asked thoughtful questions, shared personal reflections, and supported one another as they learned new tools for emotional wellbeing. It was a reminder of why we do this work: emotional intelligence grows best in safe, connected spaces.
Thank You for Joining Us
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, and to Sahara and Lale for delivering such impactful sessions. Emotional regulation is a lifelong skill, and we’re proud to offer workshops that make these tools accessible to all.
