Update on our planned events

Now that we have CIC status, we have been busy working on developing three booklets to go with the course and are devising a series of regular workshops for 2026. The three areas the booklets cover are:

• Who are you?

• What is your purpose?

• Where are you going?

We will keep our workshops as affordable as we possibly can and are looking for funding for three main areas:

Funding sought

• Costs associated with putting on an event e.g. Hall Hire, Facilitator Costs.

• Printing of workshop booklets

• Accreditation for the course

Another delay to putting events on was not having a bank account, which we are very happy to report has now been resolved and we now have an account with the Co-operative Bank.

The Nahash Health CIC Peace Conference, 2026

In April of this year, we introduced our online course in Shrewsbury with a one-day workshop, culminating in a Peace Concert. This event featured performances by members of the Yawanawa Tribe from the Amazon Rainforest, folk singer Jonathan Day after his African tour, Shropshire's own Seeds of Change, and Scotland's Eternal Sea. We raised over £600, which enabled us to enhance our website and add new apps. Next year, we plan to host a Peace Conference & Concert, and we are currently exploring how to organise it.

We are very excited about the future.
